How will my child benefit from the program?

Your child will benefit physically, mentally and emotionally. Numerous studies have shown that exercise increases endorphins which improves mood and lends to more positive decision making. Your child will have a safe and positive space to go after school at a time when they may feel bored, lonely or aimless.

How many kids are in a group?

Our groups are small with 3-4 youths per session.

Who are the coaches?

Our trainers are certified group and Personal trainers. They are all currently working in the field and have completed RCMP background checks. Check out this page to read more about our trainers.

What is the time commitment?

There is no formal time commitment. Youth can participate up to 3x/week. We do however ask for about an 8 week commitment so that they can start to see the benefits of their training and we can build a relationship with each other.

What does my child bring to a session?

Youth should wear workout attire (loose, comfortable clothing they can move in), running shoes and bring a water bottle. It's also a good idea to have a healthy snack prior to the session but one can be provided if this is not an option.

How long can my child stay in the program?

Our recommendation is a maximum of 52 weeks but we can talk about this! We hope that participating youth will gain valuable skills and improve their physical and mental health through our program and they are welcome to stay with us as long as they need.

How much does it cost?

NOTHING! The program is and always will be free for the participants. Our aim is to remove financial barriers and ensure this training is accessible to all of our youth who need it.

Where is the program located?

We are based out of Richmond, BC.
